KMEA State Honor Band
Three students from Rock Hills High school band were selected to perform in the state Kansas Music Educators Association Band. They were 3 of the 80 members in the band selected from across the state of Kansas. The students were all from 1A and 2A band programs. They had the opportunity to play two pieces written by their clinician, Dr. Ed Huckeby, who rehearsed the band Thursday afternoon and evening, Friday all day and Friday evening and Saturday with a concert at Century 2 in Wichita, Saturday afternoon.
